I'm stoked about playing you guys regularly again in basketball. I've heard from multiple people that the atmosphere at the game was the most electric it has been in a long, long time. I really wanted to go up to Como for the return game but unfortunately it had to be on a Tuesday night.

I know we'll never replace KU but its nice to finally have a conference opponent within 5 hours of us. We have never really had that in either the SEC or the SWC. This is uncharted territory for us.

I would not want that kind of rivalry (hatred) ever again. But plunder, pillage, burn and rape tends to get folks agitated.

Counting down to see how long it takes for someone to kindly inform ya that on the Mizzou board, the "k" is never capitalized in kU or kansas.

I'm looking forward to it as well. I don't think anyone is looking to replace kU. Frankly, that rivalry was dark and ugly. Not all rivalries have to work like that. Games can be electric and intense without having the dark cloud hanging over it. Look forward to it.
