Not when you consider that every Saturn V and space shuttle engine ever flown in space was tested in Mississippi and no spacecraft ever was destroyed from an engine tested at Stennis and the head of engine testing at Stennis is a State grad.
Also the former head of engineering at the Michoud (pronounced me shoe)NASA plant in LA is a State grad also. I know this because he lives right next to my in-laws in Picayune, MS.
We also developed most of the technology that makes it possible for all those drones to fly all over Iraq and Afghanastan.
But please continue to show your ignorance for all things Mississippi
