Which is more important to college coaching? Player development or recruiting? Take your time.

The fact you keep trying to draw a false dichotomy here illustrates your stunted view of the educational process. Research should inform teaching. Teaching should inform research. They should be inseparable.

Great, you can toe the ivory tower "One Mizzou" line. That sounds great in pamphlets, but I am a bit more realistic.

Horrible analogy. That's only one beneficiary, a football team. Education is more complex

States need an educated workforce but the nation needs research. Two different and conflicting goals (regardless of what you say)

State universities should serve the states that fund them, thus they owe it to the public to provide competent employees for the future economy of the state
