So ive noticed more and more people are wearing new aggie gear everyday (some so called "texas" fans started wearing aggie caps)
Is this normal for auburn//bama, missippi//ole miss, etc? or is it just texas?
lets be real, ive never seen more texans gear in my life till this year; texas used to bandwagon cowboys

I'm convinced people in FL have rotating UM, FSU, UF shirts for whoever's on top. Especially for UM down in Miami.

There are all kinds of Bama fans now in the metro Atlanta area. These were the same people that were "ALL IN" a couple of years ago.

Alabama band wagoneers everywhere. I grew up with some of them who have zero ties..
Makes it that much sweeter when they put Bama shite on FB and nobody comments or likes... They know the truth

There are quite a few in Arkansas, but generally not ones who cheer on the Razorbacks. In Ft Smith, there is a contingent which jump on board the OU/OSU respective bandwagons. It makes me sick.

It can be bad. I remember a family decked out in Georgia gear asking me when the Georgia game was starting even though it had already been over for 2 hours.

No pro team states with winning programs, are the worst.
Oklahoma and Alabama are the two biggest bandwagon states. Their fans are so similar it is creepy. Oklahoma may even be a bit worse because Auburn is such a better program than Oklahoma State, but none the less I've never gotten anything but a similar vibe from either.
The speech, "you just don't understand, anything less than a national title is unacceptable" has been given to me by both those fan bases with the most condescending tone you can imagine. But I mean, from the baby boomer generation and upwards, Alabama has 10, and Oklahoma has 7. Pre-Saban Alabama had 7, they were damn near identically successful in that time frame for 95% of the US population, and they had no pro sports to compete with.
The state of Texas will be Cowboys fans for a long long long time. You might have seen more than you're used to, but it will take 30 years for the Texans to even come close to touching what America's Team has built.

When Saban got to Bama a ton of trashy bandwagoners started buying up all the Bama gear in Walmarks.
I know one guy specifically I used to work with used to have an LSU flag hanging in his office. When Saban got to bama, he threw it away and now has a Bama flag.
These types of fans are garbage.

Georgia not so bad. Atl has a diverse fan base because there are people from all over.
My city I am in though.....the worst.
1 year the whole town is all Alabama, the next all Auburn, the next all UGA.
It just rotates between which ever team is better that year.

Mississippi's bandwagon fans are usually contained around the coast. North/Central Mississippi people generally have a team (Either OM or State usually) that they at least have some connection to or have been a fan of for life. On the coast though, you see: Bama, Auburn, LSU, Florida, etc. depending on who is better that year. I'm sure that if you were to drive around Biloxi and Gulfport right now, you would probably see a bunch of shiny new Bama flags on a bunch of houses, most of them still with fold creases.

Pretty bad. High school dropouts decked out in purple and gold.

Saints "fans" definitely shot up after the Superbowl. Bama fans went from about zero to scattered around. You aren't a fan if you don't follow them when they are down.

Yea they're called Cowboy fans

There are a shite ton of Bama bandwagoners in Mississippi. Guys that dropped out of high school and work in factories put a giant script A that covers their back windshield.

In my experience, if I see someone wearing Ole Miss gear it's about a 50/50 shot that the person actually went to school there. A lot of rednecks really like Ole Miss gear because of the confederate flag. You can usually tell the bandwagoners from the actual alumni and students though.

Plenty of bandwagon bama trash here in Tennessee. Ask them who the coach was before Saban, then sit back and laugh at how pathetic they are.
Someone said something about bandwagon ole miss fans in Tn. I've seen like ten ole miss fans the whole time I've lived in Nashville. I moved here in 04.
