Players get to college lacking so many fundamentals that were expected of players 15-20 years ago. Boxing out is basically non-existent nowadays, but it is an integral part of basketball. Same for the shot fake and jump stop. They have become non-existent because players don't learn fundamentals.
Go watch some Big-10 Basketball games when you get a chance like I have this year. I GUARENTEE you that Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Michigan, and Ohio State players ALL are as fundamentally sound as it gets.

Not as sound as it gets, but definitely more so than SEC schools.

They are fundamental yes, but not the fundamentals of 20, 30, 40 years ago. The talent level has increased through the years, but the basketball IQ is slowly decreasing.
