Ingram put the offense on his back and helped lead us to our first NC since 1992. Why the frick should he not be considered a legend of our program.

Uh, he should.

And people talking about Gerhart having better stats.....SMH. He played in the PAC 10. He saw crap for defenses.

And

Ingram's total yards from scrimmage = 1992
Toby total yards from scrimmage = 2028

But,

Ingram's yards per touch = 6.6
Toby's yards per touch = 5.7

Ingram averaged nearly a yard more every time he touched the ball while going against real teams with real defenses. Additionally, Ingram destroyed #1 Florida the last game of Heisman voting season with 3 TDs and ended the Florida dynasty while started the Alabama one.

If Alabama were to have played Stanford's schedule in 2009, it is safe to say Ingram would have averaged around 8 yards a touch and probably put up over 2500 total yards and over 2000 rushing. It's hilarious seeing people try to compare running back stats from a dude from the PAC 10 to the leading guy from the SEC
