Mark Ingram on the other hand could easily be rated as one of the worst heisman winners of all time.

Pat Sullivan disagrees. Terrible stats for a QB and got blown completely out by Alabama and in the bowl game.

And Archie Griffin's 2nd Heisman where he only scored 4 TDs on the entire year disagrees.

Ingram put the offense on his back and helped lead us to our first NC since 1992. Why the frick should he not be considered a legend of our program.

Sullivan was unbelievable while at AU in the 70s considering it was not he pass happy league it was today. In fact, Sullivan was the only non RB in the top 5 in voting that year. If you are going to call Sullivan as one of the wors Heisman trophy winners you are a moron. He set the NCAA record at the time for a single season YD/Play average.

I agree with Archie's second Heisman.

The point I was making is that Mark Ingram's season was the worst field of Heisman contenders in a generation. He wouldn't have won it in any other year in the past 5 and probably wouldn't have even come second.

I am not arguing that he wasn't a good RB at Bama, just that of all the RBs you have had in the past few decades, I wouldn't call him the best or most deserving of the heisman
