There have been a lot of guys in Alabama's history that deserved serious consideration and one could not argue had they won the Heisman. If you ask me, Alabama should have more than 1 Heisman in their storied history.

Mark Ingram on the other hand could easily be rated as one of the worst heisman winners of all time. Not only did Toby Gerhart make a compelling argument to beat him, that was easily the worst heisman field in a generation

TRich was a better Heisman candidate than Ingram

Pat Sullivan disagrees. Terrible stats for a QB and got blown completely out by Alabama and in the bowl game.

And Archie Griffin's 2nd Heisman where he only scored 4 TDs on the entire year disagrees.
