Truth. And State theatre would make it if they incorporated a good restaurant in it for the day hours and made it a bar at night with good bands and a 5 dollar cover and then good drink specials during the week.
The lack of Mugshots being a bar anymore gives you ample opportunity to take advantage of the downtown area.

I miss the bistro so damn bad. It was a true gem. You could watch sports on the big screen, music in the theatre, grab a table up front, sit at the upstairs bar, sit on the upstairs balcony, sit in the inside balcony with a few friends. It had so many different areas if you didn't wanna be around a certain crowd. I had friends on the staff that would let me in the back/upstairs entrance. It was the best bar I have been to in Starkville. It will never be the same.

I liked Mugshots food, but stopped going because the bar at night made it smell like vomit during the day.
