Not much... we are still building our talent base, and JFF is special, but we should be able to plug in a Kenny Hill, or Matt Davis, or another QB, and do very well. Our offensive system is always going to put up points - for example no dropoff after KK left. We have to make the talent base 4* and 5* instead of predominantly 3*, and eventually the cards will fall your way with good coaching.

You have to become a program like Alabama, LSU, FL, or even tOSU, etc where you are consistently in the discussion. One magical year does not a program make (like BYU)

Long term success is more important than "cashing in" on a JFF type. Would be really nice to win, though

Your offense needs a good qb to thrive. For example:

Houston record in 2009 with Case Keenum: 10-4

Record in 2010 without Keenum: 5-7

Record in 2011 with Keenum: 12-1
