You guys are really sold on Maurice Smith. Why? I know he's good, but he is that good to get PT?

DBs play special teams a lot. I think he's good enough to get mop up and ST.

As I understand it, the guys who get redshirts are viewed as being 4 or 5 year players. The guys who don't are seen as being potential 3 year players.
