Interesting on a couple of points, I think I understand sort of how OM got in the game with Jones but that will always be the case with them. They will always "weasel" into a situation in ways that we won't attempt because I think their boosters (the ones that count) have a much more "win at all cost" type attitude than ours.

Also, would certainly be interested in how OM ruffled Pogue's feathers on Conner, hadn't heard that one.

And on Redmond, the story being put out is that we turned ourselves in and then Devinner went public, hadn't really heard specifically that OM ratted on us on that one. Would be surprised for anyone living in a glass house like OM does that they would be turning anyone in. And so far, under Slive, NO SEC TEAM has faced any real harmful sanctions from the NCAA over recruiting violations. Yes, SC and TN and now maybe us may get some very minor slap on the wrist but I am talking about sanctions that would really damage the program. None of that has happened since Kramer's days.

Like I say, you are just not seeing behind the curtain from our side. The difference between our boosters and theirs is that ours generally keep a lower profile, while their fanbase arrogance puts theirs out on front street more often than not. "Win at all cost" = fry for free if you are MSU or Ole Miss -- and the powers that be in the SEC have a vested interest in you remaining a cupcake. Again, how can they be doing such a better job at these backdoor transactions, when at least half the highly-regarded players in state over the past decade go to MSU? The answer there is simple...and it's that we both cheat at approximately the same level.

We were working on the "irregularity" behind the scenes and nothing was going to come of it. That's why their mouthpiece, De'Vinner, went public and spewed all kinds of bullshite all over the radio. That forced the NCAA's hand to look at us a lot closer -- and also effectively went around Slive. There is plenty out there that ties De'Vinner to them. Maybe not hard evidence, but enough circumstantial stuff to draw the logical conclusion...
