In 11 seasons as an NFL OC/HC he has had two top-10 offenses.

CC is one of the winningest offensive coordinators in NFL history FWIW.

You shouldn't be. LSU wins with Defense and ST. Offense - if it ever comes to fruition - is just lagniappe anyway. If CC gets the O on track, we go from winning 11 games a year to 12-13 games a year. If he doesn't get the O on track, we continue winning 10-11 games a year and competing for titles periodically. Either way, LSU isn't built on offense and never will be, so it'd be silly to get "worried" over offensive changes at LSU.
