2009 & 2010 are the only years in which LSU wasn't in the top half of the conference in TOP. Looks like that excuse doesn't hold water.
Could have and should have been #1 or #2. And what excuse? Who needs an excuse for our defense? It's been awesome. I am just imagining them with more rest.
