If you watched the ESPN documentary on Bo Jackson, you'll remember that Bo himself said that he didn't like running at practice.
I don't remember the exact quote but it was something like....
"Coach always had us out there running, running so much, I didn't like running, or doing anything physically active, I just like shooting bows all day. I like grocery stores. My name is Bo."

I didn't like running at my football practices either.

I was a noob once so I know how hard it can be but I have no sympathy for you
