The comment about Hootie pray and leave GOD on the sideline was a comment made out of angry! As a pastor I am glad the young man sought the LORD and who is to say what the LORD impressed upon on him or why. Also to disinvolving GOD in anything is idiotic.
The reason most thank GOD is because he gave them the ability. If Hootie said that he prayed and GOD told him Lsu this mans story would be different!
