Auburn's 2004 offense says hello.

It had been done before, but that really showcased how two top notch RB's can be effectively used in the same offense.

Yes, two rbs were never used on the same team before 2004. Hell Auburn had three NFL runningbacks splitting carries in the early 80s.

I think the gist of the article is that Saban is telling the guys up front and using it as a recruiting pitch.

I highly doubt Tommy Tuberville did the same. Especially, considering the ducks were probably flying.

If I remember correctly, the only reason Ronnie got much playing time was because Cadillac went down. Before that Tubbs was happy to run Caddy into the ground, which is probably why he broke down so early in his pro career.
