I trust A&M will make the most of it and not frick it up. Hyman is probably the right man to lead y'all through your next stage - but he has the biggest fricking ego in the history of ADs anywhere in the country.

NOT
EVEN
CLOSE
Ever heard of a guy named Bill Byrne? You know, the guy who published a weekly column on the athletics website basically being like Ron Burgundy? ("Hey everybody! Come and see how good I look!")
Back to the "application" question, when I was admitted, I had a 1320 SAT and was just barely in the top ten % with a GPA of 95.4 (Honors and AP classes weren't as heavily weighted back then).
My first semester in college was fall '96, so that would probably be equivalent to a 2300 SAT and a 105 GPA today (counting inflation) :)

You might add outgoing AD Bill Bryne aka $bill. He was the only AD I know that would call your back, if you left a derogatory comment, and challenge you to a fight
I thought it was funny but he didn't want to go to the SEC, so it was good that he left.
