I'm sorry bro. Wouldn't wish living in SA on my worst enemy. Just a big, greasy dump.

All about what part of town you live in. The North and Northwest side on the edge of the Hill Country is fantastic. Just beautiful. The cost of living is the lowest of the major Texas cities. The mexican food is the best in the world and cheap and there are lots of other cool restaurants in town if you know what you are doing. The people are laid back and know how to have a good time. You have Sea World and Six Flags for the kids and some fantastic golf courses. Downtown and the Riverwalk are always fun. San Antonio is one of the few places in Texas with real history as well with the Alamo and the Missions, it's such an old city compared to the other big cities in Texas.

SA is probably the most touristy city in Texas though. It amazes me how many people who have gone there just go to the Riverwalk and think of that as San Antonio. Kind of like going to the Strip in Vegas and assuming that is the town.

Love me some San Antonio.
