Cooper might go down as Alabama's all time best.

Chances he sets the receptions, yards, and TD records?

Receptions:

DJ Hall - 194

Cooper - 59

Because he will likely only play 3 years it's going to be tough on this one. He'll need to average 68 receptions a year the next two years. He will be doubled and Alabama will have a lot of options, so I could see his receptions staying in the 60 a year range. This record is doable but not a sure thing. Of course, Hall played 4 years.

Receiving yards:

DJ Hall 2,923

Cooper - 1000

Again if he had three more years this would be close to a lock but with only two years likely he needs to average 962 a year. Doable but not a lock because of double teams and other options.

Receiving TDs:

Homan - 18

Cooper - 11

So he needs 7 TDs in the next two years. If he doesn't get that I would be shocked.

What do you think? Does he get these records?

He sets the yards halfway through his JR year and the TDs by the Iron Bowl next season.

He should shatter the TDs record. Receptions won't happen. Yards will be close, but I think he can do it.

He'll definitely break the receiving TD record next year, 50/50 chance that he breaks the receptions record, and I think he'll fall a little short of having the most career receiving yards.

Which could also help Amari. I hope AJ realizes he is the luckiest fricking quarterback in Alabama football history.
