Red Elephant Club. It's a group of several hundred (maybe more by now) members. There are groups all over the state. There is usually a waiting list to be in it. Rival fans think it is some ubber organized cheating ring. What they fail to realize is that with as many members as there are in the REC, there is no way they can organize a cheating strategy and implement it. Not saying there aren't rogue guys out there and hundred dollar handshakes like everywhere, but there is no way the "REC" buys cars and does the bidding of Bama. In fact, at every REC meeting I've ever attended or heard of, if a Bama coach is there he emphasizes (repeatedly) something along the lines of "be a fan only. we don't need your help recruiting."

Yeah...... In the Corps at A&M, we had a saying: The upperclassmen don't want to know what they want to know goes on.
Its the same in every group of 'good ol boys'.
Bama is just as good at it as any old SWC school. Why do you LSU fans think A&M and Bama both were favorite schools of the Bear?
