Is my school going to join in on the gymnastics in the SEC?

TAMU already has one of the top gymnastics clubs in the country. They just need to convert from club status to full NCAA competition. All the talent in the world may be in Texas but there is a reason TX kids play sports in other states because those programs are the top and have history.

A kid playing basketball will probably go UK if recruited. LSU has the established baseball team so kids are still going to want to play there. If it was just about in state then Oklahoma would not dominate the longhorns so much. Sooners program > Texas program.

Not sure about the Aggie's future in gymnastics. But you should continue to do well in equestrian. Here is a pic of one of your new recruits.

Between Ashley Miles, Andree Pickens and countless others, Alabama has been poaching Texas like crazy with no competition other than OU (who've been irrelevant till a couple years ago). This is a pic of one of their top gymnasts....
