They're lucky I don't stick my face in the kalamatas stuffed with bleu cheese.

I love those. And at Whole Foods, they often have green lemon brined olives that are really good to bake with fish or chicken, or eat plain.

I love niçoise olives too. Like when you get an olive medley and you get a bunch of hard green ones and then all of the sudden you get a niçoise one that is so meaty and delicious.

And Tapenade always so delicious on a sandwich.

Freaking love olives. I'll hit the olive bar at Fresh Market and walk out with $15.00 worth...

All kinds mixed of course.

ETA: Only reason I walk in the Fresh Market.

My main issue with olives is that they taste like shite. Otherwise I love them.

The muffaletta is favorite sandwich. The olive salad is what really brings it all together.

Yep, premier sandwich, in large part because of olives. Gives it that level of sophistication that most sandwiches lack IMO.

I agree - a muffaletta with choice meats and a great olive relish with plenty of olive oil is fantastic.
