Yes they will. Bryant won 6 national championships, Saban has won 4 national championships. I suck at math but I believe 6 > 4. Win 6 and you leave no doubt.

sounds like an awful problem if you're a bama alum.

and saban has done it in the toughest conference in CFB history. The argument isn't purely imperical

To be fair though, Bryant "won" 2 of those before Bama lost in their bowl game (s). All 4 of Saban's titles have been after winning 1vs2 games.

If he stopped at 6 wouldn't there still be doubt considering they would be equal?

Also not sure if Bryant had to stoop to getting other coaching staffs to spy on his opponent's practices like Saban did with Gregg Williams.
