The complainers have a point, but every time I hear Te'o's name I still automatically associate it with Manziel, which kinda sorta makes it relevant here. And that happens to me because I think of the smear campaign conducted by ND fans and that doofus SI-guy Thayer Evans griping before the event that the Heisman trophy was about integrity. This whole episode has been wonderful.

It is relevant because Te'o stole several awards from (possibly SEC) more qualified players because of his pre meditated hoax
