If Spurrier had come to LSU in the late 80s, do you really think Saban would have had enough pedigree to get the job in 2000?

This may freak you out but imo, if Bama beats LSU in first game last year then AJ is not nearly the QB he is today and we lose to LSU this year, then TAMU wins 2012 BCSNC. Butterfly effect. The LSU loss last year motivated AJ to be so much better. One of Bama's player told me last year that AJ was deeply effected by the missed opportunities in that game and he took a big leap up afterwards.
