If that were the case, it would make more sense than it currently does. "Hey, I got an idea.. since we're the Rebels, but our mascot is a stupid frickin bear, let's put our hands on our helmet and call ourselves the landsharks.. Cause if sharks were to ever come on land, I'm sure they'de make a tackle for no loss and celebrate like it's a safety."
This is what OM does and it's dumb. Accept it.

Actually it was started by a deceased veteran of a foreign war. You hate America, and Veterans.

The landsharks nickname came well before the bear. Remember, the "landshark" was actually one of the mascot candidates during that whole deal.
But, then again, you continue to demonstrate that you don't have a clue whatsoever.
