Bucky played in the NFL 5 years.
He only threw a pass in two seasons. He got his chance with the Oilers when they essentially tanked. He was terrible. And that was it.

Dude, you are a moron. About 90 guys make an NFL roster each year as a QB. Some of those guys stick around 10 years, 15 years, or even longer. Many make it two or three years. Each year, the draft produces about 6 to 10 QBs who manage to make a roster five years or longer. That's it. Around 8 college QBs each year are good enough to do what Bucky did.

Bucky had a throwing motion that makes Tebow look like Peyton Manning. Guy was a freaking stud running the option though and was a true leader on the field. The fact he was able to hang on as a QB in the NFL for 5 years when he easily had the worst arm in the league is both a slap and a complement to him. He made the most of what he had.
Bucky was a freaking God when I was in school and is still an A&M legend. I still have a 12th Man towel he signed for me. He was the definition of a LB playing QB, dude just loved to hit people. His attitude and play style were a perfect fit for our power run/Wrecking Crew D teams of that era. Injuries also hampered him. He also led 2 of my favorite all time A&M Bowl wins in the '88 Cotton Bowl over the Tim Brown led Notre Dame and the '90 Holiday Bowl blowout over Ty Detmer and BYU.
