What does being irrelevant for years on end feel?
I know facts are very unpopular things, especially with regard to history. But Auburn won 7 games in 1936 - they didn't win 7 again til 1953, a period of 17 years. And they weren't even playing Alabama in those years, while we were. Tennessee has never had a period of futility even remotely resembling that one.

You do realize that very few people on this board were around to witness that, right? Why would I have any idea what it felt like being irrelevant fifty years before I was born?
