The thing is he doesn't do that on most throws. Just on short throws and sometimes on deep balls. With Nuss as his QB coach, any problems with his game will be addressed.

If AJ continues to improve at this pace sky is the limit for the kid. He was the best QB in the toughest leaugue in college football. I expect similar improvement this year.

True.

AJ was the best pure pocket passing QB in the toughest league in CFB though.

He'll be a first rounder regardless. When you threepeat and have all of the intangibles and 98% of the tangibles that's how it works.

He won't be a first rounder.

Rickdaddy why do you get so damn fired up over this dumb shite?? People are just throwing out their opinions, if it differs from yours its not the end of the world man...

I'm not fired up at all. When I capitalize words it's to emphasize certain words, not because I'm mad.

While is throwing motion is now near as long as Tebow's, HE DOES drop the ball below his shoulder which elongates his throwing motion.

agreed. I think that is one thing he definitely needs to work on is getting the ball out quicker and to the right spots. He does best on deep or intermediate routes where the defense is spread out and he can throw his reciever open or put the ball where the defense cant get it. He struggles to make the right read sometimes in the redzone. Also, his longer throwing motion doesnt help him at all in the redzone.

He's good at going through his reads. He doesnt lock onto one reciever like a lot of qbs. But in my opinion he doesnt always know where the hole in the defense will be pre-snap. The best QBs have a really good idea what the defense is gonna do before the ball is snapped. With AJ, i think he needs a few seconds to see the play develop before making a decision. If he landed on a team with a really good QB coach he could certainly improve in that area, but if he lands on a team like the Jets, he will struggle.

i also agree that the OL makes him look a lot better. any QB would look better with that much time and protection.

We'll see. 1st rd doesn't mean what it used to mean. A 1st Rd Qb used to cripple a franchise if they were a bad pick because of the cost. With the new rookie wage scale it doesn't cost anything to select a 1st rd QB.

Look at the difference between Sam Bradford's contract and Cam Newtons. Cams is less than half of Bradfords and they both went 1st overall.

Oh he won't be? Because the only other QBs who have a shot right now are gonna be Murray and Bridgewater.

Logan Thomas will have another bad year (starting with throwing a shite ton of INTs against Bama) and Mett (had some hype, even from me) has displayed many reasons as to why he shouldn't be a top three round pick.

AJ is David Carr they are identical, AJ in the NFL will struggle without a very talented team.

I don't think he'll need much. Just a solid RB, average OL, and a decent number one WR. I see him consistently being a 30 TD 7 INT, 3800 yard guy in the NFL if he goes to the right team. Maybe Weeden will have another horrible year and Cleveland will draft him. They can reunite him with T-Rich, they'll potentially have Greg Jennings, and Josh Gordon will be really good by then. Plus Joe Thomas could still be there Schwartz showed flashes this season, Mack should still be there, and they are bound to have good Guards by then.

McCarron has great stats, measurables, intagibles and has been a winner. He'll go high enough to get a shot at being a starter.

ha ha. Brady has never had elite arm strength. Never. The things that make him great are accuracy and decision making. Just like AJ

AJ is a good QB. Nothing is for sure but I would not be shocked to see him do well in the NFL.

If he has that type of season, he is easily going in the 1st round. NFL teams reach ALL THE TIME on QBs.

I agree with this though. The rookie pay scale as made drafting qb in the 1st rd far less risky.

LSU hasn't had a 1st rd talent on offense since Saban and Jimbo's players cycled through. While Bama has had multiple 1st rd talents on offense almost every year.

Really? Saban has had trich and Julio. Not
Counting Ingram, saints reached on him.
