I understand that. I'm simply stating this is the hotels signature party of the year with the#1 rated DJ and it's unfortunate that they are there during this party.

Anyone would be at least slightly worried. I'm sure Saban isn't pleased with the timing.

All I'm saying is that people have been under similar circumstances and been fine. Most people are aware of the distractions and take measures to avoid them as much as possible. Teams have moved before if things prove to be too noisy, etc. You said West Virginia wasn't presented with the same distractions, but if you look at their New Years events for the past few years, or if you've been in Miami during that time of year, you know that is splitting hairs.

I wouldn't call it their signature party. Just one of their bigger parties with a DJ that is very popular here and has been ranked as the #1 DJ in the past. He and Tiesto are the two most popular here and have been doing the top Miami parties for a decade (one is Dutch, the other British). Tiesto was at the opening of a new nightclub called Story last week that was bought by the same group that owns Liv. They booked Tiesto for one and Oakenfold for the other since they are very popular here.

The signature party was after the Heat won the NBA championship, though a bit unplanned. The Heat players all arrived about 3am at Liv and they were still going at 7:30am when I drove by on the way to work the next day.

BTW, I am sure Saban is a bit pissed. If anyone can keep his players under control it is probably him though.
