How good is ND's D and will Alabama run the ball well?

Holy shite the media is pimping this D as one of the best of the last decade. It doesn't bother me...I realize they have a game to hype. But I'm really starting to question this part of the game. On one hand I can't see ND slowing down Lacy and Yeldon and co. But damn if Alabama takes it to this vaunted defense there will be some people looking like fools out there.

I think if we load up one side with TEs, then ND can't stop it.

I think their front 7 is very good. Will probably need to loosen them up with some 1st down passes - like in last year's BCSNCG - in order to run the ball effectively.

The fact that they're undefeated and are ranked #1 in Pts. allowed tells me they are are a pretty good defensive unit. But until I see someone stop Bama's running game,I don't see any team doing it.

I consider them solid in front seven, but depth appears to be an issue. Not a good issue to have when playing Bama.

Haven't seen any numbers, but I'm guessing they may be the largest front seven Bama played this year.

ND might slow down the run in the 1st quarter, without loading the box. After the ND defense tires a little the only way they stop the run will be by loading the box. Then Mr. Cooper will have a field day.

The only person that can stop our running game is our OC.
