What the hell was stopping every other SEC school from doing the same thing Coach Bryant did back in those days?

We hear shite all the time about him stocking his unlimited roster with studs just so other teams couldn't get those players. But, what the hell stopped our rivals from doing the same when there were no scholarship limits?

Nothing at all.

Rival fans saying this is just butthurt that their head coaches weren't big shots and basically sucked. Kids would rather go to alabama and be a 7th string running back than go to AU and be 2nd string. Sucks to suck.
