re: Can somebody explain to me the 1972 Season?

Auburn's only loss in 1972 was to LSU, 35-7. I attended that game at Tiger Stadium. One could argue it was one of LSU's best played games ever under McClendon. Jones had a terrific game. For whatever reason, LSU seemed to play some of its best games against Auburn (1969, 1970, 1972, 1973) during this period.
