This would be pretty fricking awesome as long as it is the ONLY change at all. I like the matte finishes sometimes, I think it wold be an epic alteration for a special game like this.

Those are excellent.
I don't get the best helmets thing, but that's taste. Whoever said they're the "most recognizable" has lost touch with reality: Michigan and Notre Dame are by far the most recognizable. I doubt Nebraska or Texas is any less so.
The new unis look great.

Since when have I ever been in touch with reality.
But they are the most recognizable helmets in football. Name another big time school that has just the numbers on the side and nothing else.
And for the record, the Michigan helmets are very similar to the old LA Rams helmets so not so much. Plus Notre Dame's helmets are IDENTICAL to Navy's, along with a couple of other teams.
