Did Florida players seem like they wanted to be there?

It seemed to me that they could have cared less if they were there or not. No excitement or supporting of their teammates. Should have just stayed in Gainsville. Very embarrassing.

They were hitting hard and jawing. So, yes.

When I look at Florida, I see a team laughing and joking when they are down two touchdowns. I see a team with players whose uniforms all look different. I see players jumping up and down and dancing after making a tackle, down three touchdowns. Players warming up in shorts and t shirts just minutes before the game, while the other team is dressed out. They didn't look prepared or interested or like a team at all.
eta: yes i am a state fan. We aren't talking about us right now.

Probably not...hard to get jazzed up to play the Big East champion when you are 1 win away from playing for the NC. This is the same thing that happended to Bama against Utah.
We know one thing for sure...the Florida Gator fans obviously did not want to be there!

The 'didnt want to be there' shite needs to end. They got their arse handed to them. Same goes for LSU, they got beat.

Did UF have a lot of fan support? Did their fans show up in droves, yelling and screaming loud & proud to be at their first BCS bowl game since Urban was HC? Fan support is a huge motivating factor for players.
The players and coaches put in a ton of hard work - the least the fanbase can do is SHOW up for a damn BCS Sugar Bowl game.

Honestly, it looked like they wanted to show boat for good individual plays the whole game. Team performance and the scoreboard be damned.

I applaud you on showing up in every UF thread and award you one cookie for finally starting one. Nicely done.

I think one of the announcers said it best last night.
Florida looked like they were more interested in trash talking and making big hits than they were playing good football and winning the game.

They wanted to be there to jaw at Louisville and make obscene gestures, but play, maybe not....

I agree with the OP. They didn't have much energy and were out hustled, out played and out coached. Embarrassing sums it up pretty good. Gator fans were out yelled, out numbered. Our band was better, though. Yeah! Silver lining.

Lots of truth in this thread. Unfortunately, if I were calling (analyst) the game, I would have probably been put off by the Florida players too. Acting like idiots when you are gettting your arse handed to you is no bueno. Thought Muschamp had this under control after it was created by Meyer. We never used to be like this. Florida fans won't support it either, and we tend to be the fickle type.
In all, still a good season, just hate to see it end on such a sour note.
