I have heard that UA does not count special enrollment students toward those numbers. There are quit a few of those students allowed in order to increase enrollment.
That 25.6 is not accurate. I posted a while back a breakdown of ACT scores by quartile at bama and there is no way it averages out to 25.6. Much closer to 23. I can find it again if need be.

Did you post ACT scores by quartile of the total enrollment or incoming freshmen?
