Not ironic at all. I made the distinction between the school and the fanbase. The Alabama fanbase with its large nutty sidewalk element is fair game for ridicule. The trashing of the school itself is different when hard data and facts are constantly being questioned or ignored. The only "trashing" of Auburn (the school) you'll ever hear from Bama people is in regards to recent SACS probation which is fair game. That is to say that I would expect to hear "trash" from Auburn people towards Alabama (the school) if Alabama was to go on SACS probation.
