The SEC hasn't been good since 2006, just accept it

So far a very disappointing day and looks as if though it could get worse. All the SEC teams look unconditioned. Did anyone actually use there practices?

Without arkansas to carry the load the SEC will always struggle.

Anyone agree? I feel like its been a down year as a whole for the conference.

I think a few teams weren't as good as advertised but I still think the SEC as a whole is pretty strong. But this year it was more top heavy than previous years.

Looking at each:
1. Bama is tough on both sides of the ball and overall the top team.

2. Florida is a very good team and with a couple more backs and another year of Driskell learning, they could be really good next year.

3. UGA was a really good team but seem to have hit a wall before the Auburn game. They haven't had the same swarming defense since.

4. LSU can't survive on defense alone forever. They have to find a serviceable quarterback and get some consistency against good competition on the offensive side or they will fall to the middle of the SEC in the next year or two.

5. South Carolina had their horse and lost him. Not sure they are a top 10 team without Lattimore.

6. A&M was probably playing the best football since midseason in the SEC. I expect them to represent the SEC well if Manziel can get his head back on before the game.

7. MSU had a bowl bid due to beating up shitty teams early in the year. Not nearly as good as their 8 win record.

Auburn, Arkansas, and Tennessee are embarrassments to their proud football histories

Mizzou and Kentucky are just bad

Ole Miss and Mississippi State are average

Vanderbilt, South Carolina, and Texas A&M are enjoying historic runs

Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina are all playing on a top-ten level. Unfortunately for LSU, so is Clemson.

Good thoughts. Ark and Aub weren't a factor this year. Georgia will win. SC is still just SC, meh. LSU doesn't feel like their keeping up with the tide. Pardon the pun. And three of the four best teams in the SEC have yet to play. Nothing too surprising yet.

What about all the other teams UF, UGA, USC, LSU and TAMU that were just one play and one win away from being in the BSCNC?

State will be State

I always laugh when I see this. If 'State we're being State', they wouldn't even have been in a bowl game.
