SEC was pretty weak this year compared to years past. LSU has a strong defense but very weak offense. UGA has good and bad games but solid team overall. UF strong defense no offense similar to LSU. MSU was living off their schedule, OM is improved but still weak due to new coaches and low talent level, Auburn was way down, USC was fairly strong team IMO, UT was way down as well, UA is strong but has weaknesses as well

So these strong UGA, USC, and LSU teams are struggling against the B1G and ACC, of all conferences to struggle against? SEC is so friggin overrated. Finally getting exposed

We hear this ever single year and every single year the SEC takes home the crystal.

I'm just glad that TAMU and Mizzou are here now to be exposed to the jealousy of other conferences.

I wouldn't say the Big12 is the best, but it's pretty safe to say the conferences weren't as far apart as we thought.

Regardless of the outcome of the two current Big10 / SEC matchups still playing out, it's pretty safe to say the SEC wasn't as advertised this year. Already losses to the hapless ACC and BIG. The SEC runner up is fighting for its life against the BIG runner up, and to think, UGA was just seconds away from being in the title game. 8-4 Michigan is given SCAR all that they want. Premier team LSU fell in the Chicken bowl to an ACC squad, and Northwestern got its first bowl win in forever.

But as long as Bama wins, the SEC chest thumpers will be out in full force once again. Because clearly Bama beating Notre Dame means the rest of the conference was as good as usual.

Six in a row... rabble rabble.
