Maybe it had something to do with the loss of Lattimore?

I just hung-up the phone with a buddy of mine who is a member of the SC Board of Visitors. He said the decline was because SC spent thirty something million last year on the farmers market renovation and the scoreboard that was deducted from the Athletic Department's coffers but, when completed, became capital property improvements for the University (the farmer's market, not the new video board) rather than the Athletic Department itself. He said we'll jump way back up after this year's revenues are tabulated for next year's ranking.

With this news the SEC could easily have 8 of the top 12 next year with aTm getting to count TV revenue.
