Miss St.: Worst 7-0 team in SEC history?

They enjoyed a weak opening 7 game run against the likes of Troy, USA, Jackson St, and other bad football teams.
Fast forward to 10/27 when Alabama absolutely demolishes them. They then go on to lose the rest of their games in similar blowout fashion with the exception of an Arkansas team that was being coached by the craziest son of a bitch in recent history.
Worst 7-0 team ever?

They had a monumental win over a surging Auburn team at home

We did beat MSU more handily than any other SEC team this year with some West teams fielding awful squads this year. Of couse TAMU had the 2nd least chance of beating us, so I guess you have to consider that with a grain of salt

I think he is just doing a very good job at pointing out something.
Everyone in the thread seems to agree also.
So congrats State on winning the worse ever 7-0 SEC team award. PRINT THE T SHIRTS!!!!

He can't because Bama actually beat some good teams and was competitive all season. Bama was not a top 10 team but easily top 20. MSU collapsed down the stretch and looked bad doing it.

I blame CoonassBulldog for filling some of their (fans within the fanbase) heads with unrealistic, sunshine-pumped bullshite. It was obvious to everyone else that they had benefited from a cupcake schedule. Then again, posters like Al Bundy also said it was "OK" for State to win against cupcakes and non of the big boys. Winning 6-7 games at Mississippi State a year gets a coach a raise.
