This is issue could have legs eventually.
I work with Ala. businessmen and professionals regularly and
Some of the more thoughtful (and confident) Bama fans are embarrassed by this issue. They point out, rightfully, that this perception undermines the program in the minds of fans and pollsters. Two of these guys say the program is strong enough so the don't need any scent of "help" on scheduling and think the school should upgrade its OOC. Another lawyer in Mobile claims the SEC is unbiased, but that the perception of bias is beginning to take some of the luster off the trophies.
It's fun to take shots at LSU on the issue, and a great opportunity to use the words "whine" and "butthurt", but at the end of the day, it's Bama's credibility that gets hurt.
Somebody in b'ham should get word to Slive.

Glad that there are some rational Bama fans. The ones here prefer the head in the sand approach.

You're friends are right, Bama doesn't need people cheating for them. Putting a Bama grad in charge of scheduling is ok, as long as someone is there say "ha nice try, you can't have Bama play at UK and LSU play at UGA". Instead the sec office says "looks good to us".

At least acknowledge the games are not randomly drawn, they were selected this way, that's the first step to realizing your team is being gifted an easier road.
