You guys should give Conference USA a look. You could rejoin Tulane. You'd have some natural regional rivalries with Houston, Rice, Southern Miss and Memphis also. You could even take out your Bama frustrations on UAB.
As far as your replacement, I'd suggest the University of Louisiana Ragin Cajuns. They wouldn't compete for a while. But on the upside, they'd keep the SEC in Louisiana, they have a cool mascot name, and this would end up improving our overabundance of tiger teams.

You guys should check Brewhans thread and see that this author was doing 2 different articles.
It's amazing this has went 8-9 pages. I think you fricks want us to leave the SEC more than we want Saban to go to the NFL
