Many of the points Rabalais made in his article are of concern for LSU - especially the bowl situation this year and the scheduling.

Rabalais made a legitimate point with the SEC caving to Alabama's wishes on scheduling, Friday games, and bye weeks. No one can argue this.

Sometimes you have to make threats in order to get the proper attention - surely no one, including Rabalais, really thinks LSU should leave the SEC.

- Friday games are negotiated between the schools involved and CBS. Bama and AU both wanted the game moved back to Saturday, SEC is not involved.

- Bye weeks? Bama;s opponents have more bye weeks for four straight years at least, including the year after the complaint
