I don't see the SEC adding Texas (way too much baggage), and Tech, Baylor and TCU ain't worth shite. If OU and OSU are joined at the hip, then they're out, the SEC can get more value from adding 2 more schools than just the state of Oklahoma.
I forgot about West Virginia being in the Big XII. I dunno how much they're worth, but they're probably the most reasonable pick of the Big XII schools right now. I thought about Kansas State, but (a) rather Midwestern/Great Plains, not too Southeast, and (b) they might be joined at the hip to Kansas like OU and OSU are. Iowa State ain't worth shite.
As for the ACC, I can't see how either Florida school, G Tech or Clemson are on the table; for one, their rivals wouldn't like it, and for another, they don't really add a lot in the way of expanding the conference footprint. North Carolina and Virginia seem like the obvious routes of expansion, and of the schools there I can't see UNC, UVA or Duke joining the SEC for academic reasons. That leaves Virginia Tech (who seems less academics-centric than UVA, but might still be, idk about VT academics) in Virginia and N.C. State and Wake Forest in NC, and N.C. State seems like the obvious pick of those two.
EDIT: I'd rather UNC and VT if the SEC had its pick. I just don't see UNC jumping to the SEC

Obvious answer would be a single team from North Carolina (most likely NC or NC State) and a single team from Virginia (Virginia or Virginia Tech)
It seems to me there is a lesser possibility of grabbing OU or taking a second team from North Carolina (e.g. taking both NC and Duke to make the SEC the clear #1 basketball conference as well as #1 football and #1 baseball conference).

Well, if I had my way, we would have bolted with A&M back last year and kept UT and OSU on the schedule as non-conference opponents every year. It may seem like a death wish, but I'm getting a Chris Matthews tingle-up-my-leg just thinking about how much fun that schedule would be.
And I know OSU has absolutely no value and our state is relatively small, but y'all might not realize that OKC and Tulsa are two of the highest-rated markets for college football. HERE Right up there with the Alabama crew and those couch burners in Ohio.
Not sure if that link worked since I'm a first timer, but it shows that we Okies live and breathe football as much our southeastern brethren do, so I feel like we'd fit in just fine (not to mention we'd be 2nd in National Championships behind Bama). You would think we'd fit in a hell of lot better than Mizzou. Try calling an Oklahoman a Yankee and see how he reacts to that. I was a little shocked y'all took them, but to each his own.

I guess I am the only SEC fan who doesn't want to expand. I didn't like the last expansion. Yes, I know it's all about TV exposure and TV money but I still don't like it.

I think the inventory part of this is really important, and bringing in OU and VPI would really help with that. Increasing the quality of inventory would increase the subscription costs on cable television outside the SEC footprint making up for the lost revenue in bringing in the Oklahoma as opposed to NC.

North Carolina and Duke. Both are AAU members --which Slive and the presidents care about -- and national basketball brands, and should increase the value of programming on the new SEC Network (many more basketball and baseball games, raher than football games, on the new network).

It's got to be in anew geographic area to bring in TV sets.

Please no more teams! The big east went 16 in basketball and it was a cluster frick where no one knew who was in the conference without looking it up.
I already cant list all the SEC teams anymore without a mental map of the states. When something is great you can ruin it by addition.

I'm not so sure that OU and OSU are together in perpituity. We broke from the Texas schools when many thought it was impossible.
I DO, however, see Baylor suing the ever living crap out of either Texas or OU if either try to bolt without taking Baylol. They are fighting for survival and entry into the one of the 4 supers that will form.
