Yeah, I've built numerous PC's, I mean, I know what I'm doing. I just have to get caught back up on some of the hardware, I'm a little out of date with some of it.
I usually don't overclock my RAM or CPU except to get the RAM out of default settings. As far as cooling, I've looked into water cooling, but I'm not comfortable setting it up, plus it's overkill for what I do. On this build I went with Arctic Cooling and it's done a great job.

not necessarily water cooling. just something bigger than the bull shite fan that the pc comes with.
get some thermal paste at best buy for 6 bucks and a 30-40 dollar fan like this

see the cheap arse fans are literally just fans.
the more expensive fans actually have exhaust systems and draw in and expand heat from the pc. tey are 10x more efficient than the BS that comes with the pc. you don't have to go water cooling to get a good cooling unit. i honestly just do the water cooling beucase it looks bad arse.
