1 AP voter voted Hawaii number 1.

And 1 voter voted Virginia Tech number 1, despite the fact LSU had an identical record, and won the head to head matchup 48-7.

I swear I hate the damn AP.

When healthy that 07 LSU team was just as dominant as other BCS Champions. LSU was a different team with Early Doucet healthy, and once he started playing again Glenn Dorsey went down for the season.

tbf, OU would have been in the MNC if not for the screw job in Autzen .

The correct answer to the OP is clearly 2011 Bama.
