So.. do you get money for GOING to bowl games, or only WINNING those said games? Like do you get a lesser amount for losing or what?

Each team gets the same amount, win or lose. You take all your expenses and give the rest to the SEC to divide evenly. Of course, expenses are pretty high and I doubt they try to be cheapskates on a Bowl trip.
