I can't find this anywhere so here goes. Does every SEC school get money by any other SEC school going to a bowl game, or do they have to win the bowl game. And is this seperated by SECE and SECW bowls.
What I mean is, if I'm not mistaken, for example if Alabama wins the national title game, all other SEC schools win money it's like a shared pot?
If that is accurate what amounts do other schools get, how is that determined, and what if you lose your bowl game do you still put money in the pot to share? Or is this just lunacy and not true? Like if FL were to win it's bowl, would Ole Miss gain anything from that? It just sounds too crazy.

In all honesty, yes, the SEC evenly distributes all revenue (TV, bowls, etc.)
It's a good thing. A very good thing.
